HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION
To check the availability of our Eastbourne holiday flats, or to make an online reservation, please click here. Alternatively, you can call us on 07747 472 540.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Our holiday flats in Eastbourne have been designed to comfortably accommodate two adults and prices are based on 2 people sharing. This includes all water, electricity, gas, bed linen and towels, and we also supply free and unrestricted Wi-Fi. There are no hidden extras.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS
For all bookings we require a non-returnable deposit of £100, per week, per apartment, which is payable at the time of reservation. The outstanding balance is due no later than 30 days (about 4 weeks) before the agreed arrival date. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. For reservations made within 4 weeks of the arrival date, full payment is needed at the time of booking. All international payments must be sent to our bank in Great British Pounds (GBP) and any bank charges incurred to accept the payment will be charged back to the guest. For these reasons, and to avoid the high fees charged by banks to send and receive money in different currencies, we highly recommend our international guests transfer money via Xoom (a company owned by PayPal) or other similar companies such as TransferWise.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
If a booking for one of our Eastbourne holiday flats is cancelled less than 30 days before the arrival date, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made. If a booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the arrival date, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. In case of a no show or a booking reduction (after the arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
For these reasons and especially in light of the recent Covid-19 pandemic, we strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance. This is inexpensive, widely available and gives you the peace of mind that you will get all your money back should you ever need to cancel your holiday. If you choose not to take out proper insurance, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
Please note: We are not insured or able to issue refunds outside of our Terms and Conditions
We will only cancel your stay if your Eastbourne holiday flat was unavailable for reasons beyond our control, e.g., another government lockdown. We would try to change your reservation dates, or offer alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for your stay at Beachside. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK-IN
Please note check-in is between 4 - 8pm, unless arranged beforehand. Please try not to arrive before this time as we will still be busy preparing your accommodation and won't be around to welcome you. If you do arrive in Eastbourne before this time and would like to drop off any bags, then we can safely store these until your holiday flat is ready. If you are arriving after 8pm
or would prefer the option of self check-in, then please let us know in advance and we will send you the code to our key safe.
WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK-OUT
Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Please try to leave the holiday flat as clean as possible, bearing in mind that other guests will likely be arriving the same day. You are requested to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition. This includes washing up, placing all rubbish in outside bins and ensuring the oven, grill and microwave are clean and free from grease.
WHERE CAN I PARK
All the roads surrounding Beachside - apart from the seafront itself - offer free and unrestricted parking and we use these ourselves daily. We recommend Cambridge Rd. Rylestone Rd and Halton Rd. Please note they can get particularly busy during the summer months, especially on hot sunny days, so our top tip is to look for Hanover Rd just off Latymer Rd. Alternatively, there is also a public car park at Treasure Island which is 3 minutes' walk away.
WHAT IS ACCESSIBILITY LIKE
There are seven steps from the street to our front door; so unfortunately, unless the wheelchair is collapsible, access is limited. Our ground floor Apartment No.1 may be suitable for less mobile guests, please telephone for more information.
Apartments No. 2 and No. 3 are on the first floor and there are approximately 16 stairs separated by a half landing. Apartments No.4 and No. 5 are on the second floor and again there are approximately 16 stairs separated by a half landing. Thd stairways are of a standard width and there are handrails from the ground floor all the way up to the second floor.
DO YOU ALLOW ADDITIONAL GUESTS
All our Eastbourne self-catering holiday flats have been designed to comfortably accommodate two adults and rental charges are per apartment and based on two people sharing. Other guests are very welcome to stay as long as we are told at the time of booking. For a charge of £10 per person, per night, we can supply extra linen and towels and prepare either a pull-down wall-bed, a Jay-Be fold-away bed or a sofa bed. The type of bed is dependent on which apartment is being booked and is told in the apartment's description on this website.
DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN
Regrettably, our holiday flats are not suitable for young children.
DO YOU ACCEPT PETS
Sorry but we do not allow pets at Beachside.
WHAT IS YOUR SMOKING POLICY
For the comfort of all our guests there is strictly no smoking in any of our Eastbourne holiday accommodation
WHAT IS YOUR ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Beachside is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly to everyone. Whilst <Website Name> strive to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website and we are currently working to achieve this. Be aware that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.
If you have any comments and or suggestions relating to improving the accessibility of our site, please don't hesitate to contact our accessibility coordinator John Squires by phone or e-mail. Your feedback will help us make improvements.
